I have now had this exact same problem for like 2-3 weeks. It even prompted me to upgrade from my blaze to the sense. Now I am discouraged to discover that it was not the watch that was the problem, it must be the app. That is extra frustrating given the price point of the sense, and that apparently my blaze was working fine. They need to fix this ASAP. Restarting the watch doesn’t help. Resetting heart rate settings also doesn’t help. It seems that once I pass noon my calorie burn drops down in the 200s when just the hour before it was reading in the 900s or higher. Pretty crappy.
