Can I have two accounts on the Fitbit app?

Can you add two accounts to one app? My mother has charge 5 and an account, she wants to get my dad a fitbit charge  5 but knows he won't enter all the data properly or regularly. Is there a way to quickly flip from one account to the other on the same phone?

Hello @S1988

Unfortunately you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Charge 5, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time.

Does your mom have another mobile device, like an iPad that she can install the Fitbit App on and have your Dad sync to that while she has access to add things the way she wants too? Keeping her own account on her phone and separate.

I know this isn’t the response you were hoping for but I hope it provides you with the best answer I can offer.

Hello @S1988 and welcome to the Community.  Your mom and dad are two different users and each user must have their own account using their own email address.  Your iPhone can only download one copy of an app.  Users who share the same phone (or any compatible device) must log out of one account, then log back in to the other user's account.  "Quickly" is in the eyes of the one switching accounts.  A Charge 5 stores seven days of detailed data, so your dad doesn't need to sync daily.  But he might warm up to the features and the second device might start looking like a good idea.  It doesn't need to be a smartphone.  An small wi-fi only iPad will do, as long as they have a home wireless network.

@SunsetRunner's comment about the Gallery and multiple devices doesn't apply to you.  You aren't trying to put multiple devices on one account.  You have two users who want to share the same device.
