Can fitibit autotrack jumping rope?

Can fitibit auto detect jumping rope as an activity? I feel like that must have a distinctive exercise pattern.

SmartTrack feature automatically recognizes continuous, high-movement activities such as:

  • Walking
  • Running
  • Outdoor biking
  • Elliptical
  • Sport—Includes high-movement sports like tennis, basketball, soccer, and others. Sports that might not be recognized include those without continuous movement or that vary in intensity level.

You should give it a try and if you feel that is not as accurate as you expect you can manually log the activity.
