Can’t Edit Exercise Details

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a charge 3 and the Fitbit app no longer allows me to edit exercise data. I like to change my running distance to match either the treadmill or gps data from Runkeeper and the bike data to my bike computer but I can’t anymore. I change the data and save but it instantly reverts on the exercise screen. This has been occurring for a few weeks now.

Hi @Xoddamk. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for letting me know that your exercise details aren't changing correctly,  I'll help you out with this matter. This is an unusual behavior and since our team recently released an update for the iOS Fitbit app, please make sure it's downloaded. If the issue persists, give a try to the following:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone.
  4. Open the Fitbit app and log back in to your account.
  5. Try editing your exercise tiles one more time.

Let me know how everything goes.

So my app had updated 4 days ago and there were no new updates available. I quit the app and restarted my phone. The problem is still occurring.

Hi @Xoddamk. It's great to see you here again and I'm sorry for the delay.

Thank for taking the time to try the steps posted above. Since the your exercise details aren't able to update properly, could you please provide me with your iPhone's model and OS version? Also, if possible please take a screenshot of what is displayed in the Fitbit app and attach it in your reply. These details will help me to further investigate.

I'll be looking forward to your reply.

Hi there. Did you ever figure this out? I got my Charge 3 a week ago and am having the same problem and getting nowhere with customer service. Thanks!
