Can't Login on iOS App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have the most recent iOS software (11.3.1) and I'm getting a "time out" error when I'm trying to login on the app.  The app stopped syncing yesterday morning, it would freeze about halfway through.  So, I deleted the app and reinstalled it.  Now I can't even get into the app because after I type my email and PW it just spins for a few minutes and then says "timed out".

Everything I read so far to fix this doesn't work.  My "automatic time" was always on.  I "forgot device" under blutooth for my fitbit, I restarted my phone several times, deleted and re-installed app several times.  Nothing works.  This is really frustrating!  Please help!

Hello @mightybombshell, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for letting me know about the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment I would like to suggest you to turn off WiFi on your phone and try to log in using your cellular data. If this doesn't seem to work, please connect to a different WiFi and try to log in again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let me know the outcome!

My Fitbit asked me to sign in a week ago and it rejected my password so I reset. So it works on the website but not my app. I have iOS version 11.3.1 and my app is up to date. I tried turning off my WiFi and logging in and that didn’t work.

Hello @Carecarecare14, thanks for joining the conversation, it's a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention and for letting me know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. At this moment I would like to ask you to try the following:

  1. Force-quit the Fitbit app, then open it again and try to log in.
  2. Restart your phone, then try to log in.
  3. Connect to a different WiFi and try to log in, make sure the WiFi doesn't have any kind of child-block.

If this doesn't seem to work, please reply to me with a screenshot of the error message you're getting when trying to log in, that will be very helpful for me to check this further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
