Can't add Versa to iPhone

iPhone XS Max won't recognize this Versa. It used to sync fine but then it didn't sync so I did a factory reset in an attempt to add it again. Deleted fitbit app, installed again. Turned Bluetooth on and off multiple times, nothing. The watch is charging. It just won't recognize it.

Hi @KarenGV. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around.

 

Thanks for letting me know about your Versa and the steps tried on your own. You did a good job with them! To work on this together, first I'd recommend to turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby. Then try the following steps in the given order:

 

  1.  Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app as described here.
  3. Reboot your phone and restart your Versa.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile's icon > set up a device.
  5. Choose your Versa and follow the onscreen instructions.
