I have had to manually sync since the iOS 13 update as my Fitbit loses time up to 1520 minutes each day it’s so incredibly frustrating it’s not good enough

Hello
i have tried that but it’s loosing 5 mins since I c Completely remove the device from Fitbit logged out of the Fitbit application took the fit bit app off the iPhone, switched off the Fitbit, switched off the iPhone walked away from it for half an hour fired it all back up, reloaded the app, logged in, it’s all sorted in Bluetooth it’s saying it’s connected which actually has been quite unusualFor the past few days that’s been unusual, but it still can’t find it on the Fitbit app it says it’s looking but it’s having trouble , And it’s losing time! I thought I might of fixed it with the new 13.1 update, I am running it on a iPhone XS and it’s worked perfectly fine until this update so I don’t think it’s the phone I’ve checked the app in the settings for Bluetooth making sure everything is on there and it is, and you’re right this new update the 13.1 does acts for extra things settings which I’ve said always and turned on every possible thing I possibly can, the only thing that makes a real difference is switching everything

So it’s not the long-term answer just hoping Fitbit come up with some solutions soon looking on the general community other people are having issues with their Fitbit too it’s not just iOS! I’ll keep trying however!

Hello @Jennywren26
I would agree that iOS 13 and iOS 13.1 did a number on lots of different apps that individuals have for sure. I too hope in time Fitbit figures out a way to play nicely in the sandbox with the new iOS. We all know the iOS is not gonna budge so it’s gonna take trial and error to figure out how to get them to finally be friendly again. I’m also sure that Fitbit developers are calling upon iOS developers trying to find a solution to all these issues but I’m afraid iOS developers are overly swamped at the moment dealing with outraged peeps not liking the new update so app compatibility is not their top priority at the moment. I guess what I’m saying is that once the clash dies down a bit maybe some progress can be seen. The fact that just prior to all this Fitbit themselves came out with a huge update and without the iOS out yet they couldn’t predict the train wreck. I do hope you find answers and don’t let this deflate your desire to stay healthy and keep moving. Because at the end of the day that’s why we purchased trackers in the first place. Good luck to you and happy stepping. 😃
