unable to edit stats on the dashboard on my I phone.monitors my stats and synchs to my desk top computor just fine but when i try to make adjustments or activate my GPS .........no response

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and recommend trying the following:
- Log out from the Fitbit app.
- Force quit the app and check if it is updated to the latest version by following these steps.
- Clear your iPhone cache: How to Clear Your Browser's Cache on an iPhone.
- Reboot your phone.
- Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
