Can't join any challenges

I am not in any challenges at this time, but for awhile now when I try to join one it says: Can't join more than 5 challenges"  I have called Fitbit and they are no help.  I have logged out and back in.  I have removed the app and put it back on.  I am completed updated on my iPhone and fitbit app.

I really want to be able to join challenges. I have a blaze now, did have a Surge.  Help!!!

I'm sorry to hear you want to join the challenges but instead, you receive an error message indicating you can't join more than 5 challenges. In this scenario, please try the following steps:

- Log out from the Fitbit App.

- Close the Fitbit App

- Reboot the phone

- Open the Fitbit App

- Log back in the Fitbit App.

 

If you continue to experience this issue, could you please share a screen shot of the error message you receive?

I have this same issue!!

 

I have contacted support (over a month ago) and still nothing!

 

I have uninstalled the app, reinstalled, logged out, logged in....even had my phone replaced due to it breaking and still the same problem.

 

I am not in any challenges (and obviously haven't been for over a month) and I get the default ios messaging alert of: "You can only be in five challenges at a time"

 

I have been completely in the dark on this issue since I filed it, I've contacted support multiple times and all they say is "We're investigating".....you have to have SOME idea of whats wrong and can at least update and state when you think it will be fixed -_-

I am unable to upload a pic of the screen or more not sure how. I have updated my iPhone and the app and I still get the prompt I can not join more than 5 challenges and it has been this way for a while like over 3 months now. I am getting frustrated. One reason to have a Fitbit is to challenge my family and beat them. Lol. Please help. Thank you.

@HotRunner, what kind of phone do you have? We can probably help you figure out how to take a screen shot. 

 

I'm curious. You cannot join a challenge. But can you initiate a challenge?

It has been 91 days that my daughter has received this message. Sad since I read that people do challenges do about 20% more steps while in the challenge. So sad, I got my fit bit so we could challenge each other but haven't been able to. She has done the things suggested here, over and over, which is what the customer support seems to suggest for just about any problem. Mmm, wonder if it will help my rash. LOL

I have a I phone 6 plus I can screen shoot the page just can't get it to paste to this response.
It just seems that Fitbit doesn't know how to fix this problem or care that some people are having this problem.
A window pops up that says you can only be in 5 challenges at a time. Again I am in no challenges. This is just so frustrating!!
