Can't join challenges

I can't join any challenges.  It says no more than 5, but I'm not in any.  I've looked for an answer on here, but it says the problem is resolved.  It isn't.

I thought they sorted this out?

They said it was fixed, but I still can't start or accept any challenges. I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times with no change.

Hello my friends @Needs @SunsetRunner, I'm glad to see you both around Smiley Very Happy! Each Challenge invite has a 24 hour window to accept, my guess is that you tried to accept the Challenge invite outside of this window.

I'd recommend asking the person who invited you to resend the invite, all your steps will also count retroactively if you join a Challenge that is already in place. Click here for more information.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

This is not the case for me. I can't even start my own challenges. I have no challenges, yet the app thinks I have 5.

Hmmm...very strange let me say. We had this issue back in the past, but it has been solved.

However, I'd recommend doing these steps:

  • Log out of your Fitbit App
  • Force quit the App
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit App

Let me know if this does the trick @Needs

I can't explain the cause of this @Itsmikeb... but thanks for the heads up!

I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support so they can do a deeper investigation into this and see where the issue is coming from.

Let us know what they say! Robot tongue Welcom to the Community, btw!

I contacted customer support when I originally posted this issue. They said the engineers were aware of the bug and working on it.
