Can’t log exercise or food in the Fitbit app

I have an iPhone and recently can’t log in any exercise or food since the buttons are greyed out. Only fix I found was to uninstall, reinstall app and log in. It lets me track my exercise but then have to repeat this process for logging any further data. Please help.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend trying the following:

 

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app: tap your profile picture and then tap log out. 
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Clear your iPhone cache: How to Clear Your Browser's Cache on an iPhone.
  4. Make sure your iPhone is up to date: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  5. Reboot your phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  7. Try to log your exercise or food and see if the issue persists.
