Can't log in to Fitbit app

My app will not let me in and is treating me like a new user!  I think with your problem and my problem that the app has gone haywire!  Anyone else at wits end with this?

I'm sorry you're having problems with the Fitbit app treating you like if you were a new user. I'd like to help you out with this!

 

I'd like to know if you've tried to log in to your Fitbit account on your computer. After putting in your email address and password, does it let you in without a problem or is it also giving you a hard time there?

 

Please, make sure that when you're trying to do this on the Fitbit app, you're actually choosing the option that says "Log in" and not the first option that says "Join Fitbit".

Im having the same issue. I've reset the password a bunch of times and still the app says please check your email and password. Wondering how many days the fitbit stores data before I lose all this weeks steps. I'm on day 2 since the last sync.

Hi @islandspice02!

Your tracker will store the last seven days with minute by minute information and the 23 days before that with totals for each day, so you don't have to worry about that right now.

 

Now, have you tried to log in on your computer? If you already tried, are you able to access your Fitbit account with the same email address and password? If you're already logged in on your computer, I'd recommend clicking on the gear icon at the top right corner of the dashboard, then go to Settings and right in the Personal Info section, note what is the email address that shows there. If there's any typo by any chance, let me know so we can help you out with that. If it's your correct email address, try force quitting the app and try to log back in with the same email address and password and see how it goes!

It started working just fine, so it was probably just a glitch.
