Can't log into Fitbit app

The App kicked me out and is making me log in. Keep getting an Oops error It will not send me an email when clicking Forgot Password. Gets error and just clocks.

Hey there @DLockamy, it's nice to see you around the forums! Robot Very Happy I would like to suggest you to go to your phone Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure Set Automatically is enabled. Then, force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app. After that, try to log in again. 

 

I'd also recommend making sure that you are using the latest version of the Fitbit iOS App which is 2.76.

Thanks for your response. I’ve checked these things and and the setting was correct and there are no updates. It was strange I was using the app and it kicked me out which is the first issue. But now I need assistance logging back in. I don’t remember my password now. When I click on Forgot Password and try to get it to email me immediately there is a pop up message Failed to send. I’ve tried using different email addresses since it’s been so long I’ve had it and never had to log back in. Please help.

I appreciate you have come back and let us know you have already tried to restart your password. At this moment, I would like to ask you to try to restart your password, through the online Dashboard:

 

1. Go to www.fitbit.com/login.

2. Click the "Forgot Password" link.
3. Enter your email address associated to your Fitbit account and click "Submit."

 

If you're still getting an error message when trying to reset the password for your account, please take a screenshot and reply to me with it. This will be very helpful for me to check this further.

In case this happens to anyone else, here is what I finally did that allow me to get back into the app. I had to turn off WiFi, then it allowed me to log in, then turned WiFi back on. Something caused me to be kicked out of the app while on WiFi and then I could not log in with all the problems. Hope this helps in some of your resolutions.
