Can't log into the Fitbit app

As far as I know, I have never set up an account on my Apple phone.  I downloaded the app a while ago and it started recording data from my Charge 2.  Today when I try to access the app it asks me to log in.  I have put in my email acccount but it doesn't recognize my password so I can't access the data.  Plrease help.  What can I do to solve this?

A warm welcome to the Community @needlearts! I have moved your post to this board, because it's more related to the topic. 

 

It sounds like you can't log into the Fitbit app on your iPhone. I would like you to make sure that you're using the same email address and password than before. If you are but you're still unable to log in, then follow these steps: 

 

  1. Log out of the Fitbit app.
  2. Tap or click Log In > Forgot your password?
  3. Enter your email address and tap or click Send Reset Email. An email is sent to the email address you entered. If you don't receive the email, it's possible that you entered your email address incorrectly or the email went to your Spam or Junk folder. Try completing this step again and check all your email folders. If after an hour you don't receive your email, contact Customer Support.
  4. Click the link in the password reset email. This link takes you to our mobile website.
  5. Enter your new password and tap or click Set.
  6. Return to the Fitbit app and log in using your new password
