The account icon is to the right of the Fitbit logo on the iPhone dashboard, just above the Share icon. Some people have reported it not being there, but it is just invisible. Below is a snapshot from my iPhone showing it. Just click where it should be showing up and you should be good.

Is it a case of the app not allowing you to log out, or is it that you don't know how?

If it is the latter, then select the account icon in the top right of the main dashboard. From the Account screen scroll down to the bottom and you will see a "Log Out" button.

I'm having the same problem.  But I don't see an account icon on my iphone.  I have that icon on on my ipad, but I want to sync (and be able to see my bpm) with my iphone as well.

I have an iphone 7 and also can't log out of the Fitbit app.  I wanted to do so to try to get my Fitbit to sync the sleep data.  I do not want to have to manually enter it.  I also do not want to lose any information that I have now.  I do not see the account icon anywhere.  It is not above the share icon, I tried touching there anyway, nothing.  I tried multiple places until I got either the share or edit to come up.

Help me!

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forums, @murfette - The account button is at the top, left of the Fitbit app Today screen. Tap it and you can scroll down to Log Out. If this does not help, please try to post with a photo or screen shot of your Fitbit app.

I’m using the Fitbit app on my iPhone 6. The app is up to date. I turned off auto-sync and I want to log out of the app and log back in so that the change will take effect. I tapped the account icon in the top left of the Today screen and I looked through all of the options, and I cannot find a log out option anywhere. Where is it?? Please help!  Thank you!

@LilMagill - to save your change, stay on the same screen and tap Sync Now (#1). On my screen, it is right below the All Day Sync button. Then, you should tap Account (#2) -> Back. That should save your new setting.

@murfette - You don’t have to turn the app off. You just need to sync. From sleep mode, tap Back at the top, left of the screen. Then gently pull down on the screen. You should see the message Syncing & Refreshing. That should do it.

I can sync, I will do this every time I open the app.  I have also pulled down so I make sure it is syncing.  Not all of my sleep data is syncing.  Sometimes it does not have anything recorded for a day or days at a time.  I don’t want to delete the device and re-add it, I don’t want to lose the data that I already have.

Thank you, Carol-B. I had turned off all-day sync but the app still syncs when I open the app. I went into the account page, turned on all-day sync, tapped sync now, waited a few seconds, then turned off all-day sync again and tapped sync now. Then I closed the app and opened it, and it syncs automatically. Go figure.

I can't see the Account icon. The mailbox is in the spot you indicated. So when I click there, the mailbox opens.

Hi @SFCAVic and welcome to the forums! Which phone are you syncing to? Please make sure your Fitbit app has been updated to the latest version for your phone. I’m on an Apple phone. My Account icon shows a photo of my cat. In the screen shot below, you can see my Account button and the mail button. Hope this helps you find your Account button.
