I can only see one line of text in the challenges—the rest of the text is cut off. This is only iOS as the Apple users are having the same problem but not the Android users. I don’t see a post for this and it’s been going on for a couple of weeks. I’ve closed and opened the app, reinstalled, rebooted my phone. Is this problem being worked on?

Hi CoreyMac. Thanks for the info you supplied in your post. Most of my family have Fitbit’s (a variety of types). All using iPhones have this issue. However my Blaze has lasted 3 years so far. Fingers crossed that it lasts a while longer

We all wish you luck! 🙂
When the gadgets work and the software does as well, they can be great tools! I just wish FitBit saw it was worth their effort to to that...

Just found this thread. This is also an issue for me - iPhone 8, latest iOS update. Hope a fix is forthcoming.

Just got an iPhone 12 mini and still having the same problem.
Don't expect any help from these forums. The community threads exist for entertainment purposes only. If you really want help, call support and open a ticket.
I've been a Fitbit user since 2014,
and I finally got my last lifetime distance badge this year.
I've joined hundreds of challenges in the last 6 years,
and I've come in first place in the Workweek Hustle over 200 times.
I've recommended Fitbits to dozens of people, and I've bought several Fitbits for friends and family members as gifts. I am personally responsible for the purchase of about 50 Fitbit trackers over the years. I've been an avid supporter of the platform, and I'm the best customer that Fitbit could ever hope to have.
But it's obvious that Fitbit doesn't care about helping me or anyone else that's having this problem. Every time a new app update is released, the version history just shows bug fixes and performance improvements, but this major bug that affects thousands of people never gets fixed.
Please prove me wrong, Fitbit. If you won't support me, then I won't support you.

Mine is a similar story to yours, Battler. Worn Fitbit’s for years, bought some as gifts, participate in multiple challenges with friends and family every week. Yet I’ve had this issue for well over a year and nothing has been done. There is the occasional empty platitudes from a Fitbit moderator that “they are working on the fix” but I haven’t seen one of those even in a long time. It’s immensely frustrating. I have zero expectations that it will ever be fixed. Also frustrated that my Fitbit is “water resistant” but it dies on me right at the 1 year mark every year because I do water aerobics for exercise. I make sure to remove it and dry it after each time in the pool but can’t get them to last past a year. Oh well. Will be sadly checking out the competition next time. I LOVE the challenges and that’s a major reason I haven’t moved on already.

@Tlcbw- You're telling my story! Also a long-time Fitbit user, love the challenges and the virtual friends I've made in several corners of the world, but very frustrated with Fitbit's non-responsiveness to customer issues. I'm on another forum about using multiple trackers on the same account - which we used to be able to do (and still can if you have an old legacy tracker like a Charge HR, Charge 2, Alta HR, Blaze etc), but not with the newer models - and it's the same story from the moderators: thanks for asking, we're putting this over into "under consideration," etc. Been going on for about four years. Just joined this forum and it seems like the same story here. Right now it's the challenges and my Fitbit friends that keep me sticking with Fitbit, despite the customer care non-responsiveness.

There is no resolution yet and they've pretty much told us that they have no interest in fixing it.

I’m on iOS 14.3 on an iPhone 12 Pro and it’s happening to me. Very annoying. Adjusting text size or preventing sentences from getting chopped off is like Developer 101 and should be a really easy thing to fix. It’s ridiculous it’s still an issue since this thread was started. I even have my iPhone set on Standard Display Zoom with the smallest font possible and it doesn’t help any.

As of today, Google officially owns Fitbit so let's see if they can mange it any better. Maybe this will work ...

FitBit tech support has indicated to several of us who opened cases with them that they know about the bug and have since they introduced it back in 2019, but are not interested in fixing it. If more people opened cases and reported it but maybe they would, but so far every response indicates no they will not.
Mostly I think it just keeps people from wanting to spend on the premium subscriptions because they are 100% unwilling to actually fix their self inflicted bugs like this whether you are paying them monthly or not. Nothing will ever get fixed here in the forums. (you can see that in many, many of the threads here)
Based on the years of experience many have experienced here, the forums/community are intended to be used by folks unfamiliar with technology or specifically FitBit tech to get free entry level help, and I suppose for entertainment at some level. "Communities" are used by vendors for many things. The least of which is company provided technical support IMHO anyway.
They use it to be able to control the tone and narrative of the comments and opinions published about their products, allow experienced generous users to provide free support for their users while getting credit by "providing" the Community and all without staffing up nearly as much to support it themselves, maintain active and engaged user lists databases for additional marketing, etc...
The polite moderators occasionally offer various solution attempts provided by FitBit for newbies or others who are not aware of things like reinstalling apps, firmware updates, erasing settings and re-pairing Bluetooth devices, etc... They do not and have not offered actual technical support for any bug or problem I am aware of here. Fitbit does occasionally fix bugs I am told, but I have never experienced a bug that was later fixed. All of the bugs I am aware of by personal experience are still there even after several years.
