Can't set up new Charge HR

I just bought a new one and I'm trying to set it up w/ my iPhone 6. When I get to the step where I enter the 4-digit code that appears and it tries to connect to Fitbit it won't connect. I get either a "bad request 400" error, or a protocol error, and it won't set up. It's fully charged. Please help!

Here are some trouble shooting notes let me know what Fitbit you have and I'll send you guide for restarting tracker if you don't know how to restart it.

Turn your tracker off and back on using the instructions in How do I restart my tracker?
Try the setup process again.
If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your mobile device (turn it off and then back on).
Try setting up your tracker again.
If you can't set up after the reboot, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.
If you still can't set up, please contact Customer Support so we can investigate.

I also got a replacement for my charge hr and could not set it up after performing the steps listed by others. One person did suggest I check to see if I had the latest IOS update for my iPad. Although I had recently updated my iPad there had been yet another update. Once I had the very latest IOS update I was able to set up my new device without any problems.
