I just bought a waterproof fitbit charge 2. I already had a non-waterproof Charge 2. I can't set up the new waterproof one. It get stuck on the "pair your tracker" step. I put the 4 digit code in, but it just says "connecting to fitbit." I tried restarting the fitbit, moving my old fitbit into another room, restarting bluetooth, AND tried to setup on my Mac instead of my Iphone (on the Mac, the computer couldn't even locate the fitbit to get to the pairing step).
HELP - I want to use my new waterproof fitibit!!

Sorry i can't help with the setup, but wonder where you purchased a waterproof Chsrge 2.. Fitbit does not make a waterproof model. Legally there is no definition of waterproof. I'm wonddringwif it is a knock off.

There is a company called Waterfi that waterproofs Fitbits and sells them on Amazon. They're real Fitbits. But I am wondering if the sealing of the altimeter (which is how they waterproof it) is what is screwing with the setup process.
Probably should've just bought an Apple Watch...lol

Hey Rich! I was skeptical also but you will find the "waterproof Charge 2" HERE.
BTW, am I correct that you can't have two of the SAME models on one account? That would explain why the OP is having problems. If I'm correct, brigillespie, that would explain your problems but let's see what Rich has to say. He is much more experienced around here than me.

I new about WaterFi and also am aware that if they are a USA based company they can not legally advertise their product as being waterproof. Heck even rain coats or only water resistant. However I'm also aware that imatation fitbits have been spotted in the wild and nothing today would surprise me.
I did notice the two Charge 2 models posted by the OP, the setup process will insist on replacing the first unit or they would never get to the point where the app asks for a code.
My best advice would be to read the help guides.
