Can't set up notifications on the Fitbit app

Just bought the Versa 3 and setup when just fine but when I click on notifications in the Fitbit app to set that section up, it does nothing. I do get calls and texts to the watch but I cannot set up anything else. Watch and phone are up to date. I removed Versa 3 and reinstalled and the problem persists. I turned off and restarted the watch as well. No change. Any advise?

Hi there @ChipMax, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with the Fitbit app. 

 

Our team has just informed us some users have experienced this situation with the Fitbit app after upgrading to version 3.39. Note our team is working to have it resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience this could have caused.

 

In the meantime I'd suggest you to try syncing your watch to make sure all your data is saved and then proceed with uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. Now, you can go ahead and try to set up your notifications. I've moved this thread to iOS App for organization purposes.

I’m having the same issue with my new Charge 3. When I click on the notifications menu in the app, nothing happens. I don’t even have a notifications toggle option on the Charge 3 itself: all I have are DND, Sleep, and Screen Wake. I have tried all of the resets and “forget this device” tricks on the other forums with no luck.

Is there still no fix?? I’m glad to have phone notifications but I need app ones too.
