Can't share exercise maps through WhatsApp - iOS.

Hi there everyone

Has the share exercise feature been changed for everyone?

I used to be able to share my exercise maps with my friends via WhatsApp.  I go on a hike today and when I went to share, the option for WhatsApp is no longer there!

Open Exercise

Tap exercise to share

Share button at the top

Share button at the bottom

Next

Share elsewhere at the bottom

I have the choice of:

family Viber thread (no other)

Messages

Skype

Mail

More gives me Notes / Reminders

Also, the map details are different, now using Apple Maps instead of Google.

How do we change all this back to how it was?

Have I got a setting misplaced?

To be honest, I have been looking at getting an Apple watch once this Alta HR dies and these changes are going to accelerate that decision.  I wish companies would stop changing things that ain't broke.

I am using an iPhone XR with the latest version of iOS and the latest version of Fitbit.

Thanks

Hello @Clare2904. Welcome to the Community Forums!. Thank you for the information you have provided. We acknowledge the limitation we have on our part particularly on what you have experienced. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.

Regarding this inconvenience, I would like to suggest that you please try to log out from the Fitbit App and back in. If that doesn't resolve the inconvenience, please try to force quit restart the App. For this, follow the steps below:

1. From the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen. ...
2. Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.

On a side note, you mentioned that the map details are different. Could you give me more information about it? Can you describe the difference?. Lastly, I want to let you know that I've gone ahead and relocated your post for organization purposes.

I look forward to hearing from you.
