Everytime I hit the button to try and sync with my iphone the stopwatch starts. Eventually I do get the number to type in phone to sync but it doesn't take. I think it's because the stopwatch is starting instead of my fitbit going into the mode it should when you hold button down for three seconds. Can anyone help?

Hi @tracyault and welcome!
Are you trying to restart your tracker? If so, the charging cable has to be plugged into a USB and your tracker while you hold the button for three seconds to restart it. Click here for more details.
Additionally, I would recommend:
1. Rebooting your iOS device.
2. Opening your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.
3. Open the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.
Let me know if this helps!
