I continue to receive the message that I cannot sync without Internet. I do not have Wi-Fi and I have never had Wi-Fi. This problem started in November of last year if I recall correctly. I am currently running iOS version 17.6.1 and Fitbit most recent Update version 4.24. I am a blind user and I have been dictating this on my iPhone SE third generation and hope that you will be able to understand my ramblings. I should also mention that sometimes when I open the Fitbit application I get a list of nearby Wi-Fi availability it appears now that I am receiving two distinctly different messages wanting me to use Wi-Fi in order to access Fitbit updates.

@Podunk , Nice to see you around. Thank you for your messages.
To sync your Fitbit with your Fitbit app, it always needed an internet connection. As all the data you sync needs to be saved to your account.
You can access your account from any device at any time as long as an Internet connection is available.
You might get the message about the wifi, if your device (tablet/phone) doesn't use mobile data.
You are totally right, the connection between the Fitbit and the mobile device is over bluetooth, but to transfer the data to your account, Internet is needed.
I assume that you had the Fitbit app on your phone. Where you always had an Internet connection.
Please make sure that the Fitbit app is allowed to use the Internet connection on your phone, so that the wifi message disappears.
