I’m having a Charge 6 connected to an iPhone. When trying to install my bank card on the Google Wallet app in the Fitbit app, I’m asked to enter the full card number - which is something that the banks don’t share. I’m not able to add a card using the banks app as well because I’m on iOS and Google Wallet is not supported. So, apparently as an Apple user I’m not able to use the payment option anymore. Anyone a workaround or solution?

Hello @JanSpruij and welcome to the Community. Sorry if this sounds silly, but I have a physical card for every credit and debit card I use. I personally dislike having to carry my credit card with me, but not every store, gas station, etc. has contactless payments. You should be able to get your full credit card number from your bank.

Thanks, I always have a physical card with me as well, although it has been a year or so since I actually had to use it (Netherlands). My credit card has a number on it, but I wanted to add my debit card - but for some reason - Dutch - banks don’t provide the card number to its clients (maybe security). And without a card number or Android phone I don’t seem to be able to add Google Pay to my Fitbit.

At the retailer level, a debit card is treated as a charge card and should have the number on it.

Yep my wife is having the same problem with her iPhone 7. She won't be able to pay by watch after FitbitPay transfers completely to Google Play as she cant load Google Pay to her iPhone. I think Google is deliberately trying to kill the FitBit brand as after the last software update last?June? my Charge 4 crashes dead everytime I put my watch near a payment reader and needs to be slapped on a charger to restart it. Toss it in a drawer now as FitBit service would absolutely hopeless. We won't touch another FitBit product again

It's not silly as one should have completed records of every financial instrument they use. Have never heard of being issued a credit card without a physical card

Old system is still working but I believe iPhone users lose that option at the end of June or July
