Cannot delete Custom Food meals in Fitbit app

I am on iOS version 17.5.1 and Fitbit version 4.23 and i cannot remove any Custom Food from the Fitbit app.

I have tried the process outlined below, but I cannot get the 'delete' to appear when i swipe left on any of the custom food meals.

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Food tile
2. Tap the plus (+) icon at the upper right corner
3. Under Custom Foods, find the food log of your interest
4. Then, swipe to the left and you'll find the options Edit and Delete. In the case of Edit, make sure to tap on Save to apply the changes

Oh how I miss the Fitbit.com Dashboard 😞
