Cannot pair Flex with new iPhone

My son has shown a renewed interest in getting fit so I gave him my FitBit Flex to use. Unfortunately we cant get past the 'Searching...' part of the setup. I logged into my account and removed the Flex. He downloaded the app to his IPhone 6S, setup an account. But his phone cannot find the Flex.

 

I tried resetting the Flex via the paper clip process, a few times. We deleted and reinstalled the app on his phone a few times.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Yomama604 and welcome to the Community! The following steps should get your Flex paired to your account:

1. Restart your Flex.

2. Reboot your iPhone 6s.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds > and then turn Bluetooth back on.

4. Use the replacement setup process mentioned here to re-add your Flex to your Fitbit account.

If for some reason you are still unable to pair your Flex to your account, I would then recommend using the link in step four and either a computer or different mobile device to try and re-pair your tracker to your account.
