Cannot switch food database to another country

I cannot switch my food database to any other country. As soon as I leave the menu it automatically switches back to the United States. I have tried everything from restarting my phone to deleting and reinstalling the app. I am using an iphone 15pro and my app is on version 4.35.

Same here. I switch between UK and France, and I can't get it off the French database no matter what I do. Every time it automatically goes back to the French database, and I can't search in the UK one for the product I've eaten.

I've also tried going to the desktop version and changing it from there: it says "An error occurred when saving the profile"

Really, really annoying! I said years ago it would be better to have one big database... lots of people eat food from different countries.
