Challenges - Cannot Join

I cannot join challenges, either through the online connection from email to my dashboard or through my phone (iOS). The challenge notification shows up, then I click join and then nothing happens or it takes me back to the general challenge page. Please assist.

If you open the app, then go to the Challage page, do you see the invite? 

What happens when you accept from there?

There also is a sneak peak, pressing that should take you to the challenge page, does it? Can you accept from there?

It doesn't show in the Ap. I get a notification and an email, but nothing in the Ap or the web-based entry.
