That is a great inquiry @SunS! I used to have the same issue and the reason was that some of my friends had the Friend Rankings set on "Hide Me". My recommendation is to double check this status by going to their Online Dashboard, Click on Settings (upper right corner), go to Personal info and scroll to Preferences and change the status to "Show Me". After that, try to add those friends to your challenge.
