Challenges disappeared

Fitbit spontaneously quits all of my active challenges & deletes all my completed challenges, including adventure challenges that I've finished but haven't timed out yet (still waiting for other players to complete). This happened to me for the third time today. I have to get other players to re-invite me to get back in.

I'm using the latest app update, 3.45 for the most recent occurrences Aug 30 & Aug 24. The first time it happened was July 19 which would have been v 3,43 or 3.44. iOS 14.7.1 on iPhoneX.

Here are a few examples from today showing the tell-tale double-quit:

Note that this is different than the usual disappearing challenges that have plagued us for quite some time now - those usually eventually reappear spontaneously.  For this case, re-invitation is required.

Hi there @LVinLA. Thanks for the details shared in your post and for the screenshots provided. I understand how you are feeling and recommend trying the following if you haven't done so:

1. Log out from the Fitbit app: tap your profile picture and then log out.
2. Force quit the Fitbit app.

3. Restart your phone
3. Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.

Hope this helps.

@CindyMFitbit Thanks for the reply, but, as I said in my post, this is a different issue than the usual disappearing challenge problem that has been happening for quite a while. In the disappearing challenge case, the challenges are still in play, you still get notifications of comments posted etc, & they eventually show up again, usually after simply restarting the app & syncing, sometimes many, many, times.

The problem I'm posting about here is the case where the app quits all of your active, pending-sync, & completed challenges. No resetting/restarting/logging out/in will correct this - you have to get other players to re-invite you to get back in.

So, your edits to the title of my post are incorrect & misleading - my original title "Fitbit Quit Glitch"  (or "Quitbit Glitch" for short😀) is the unambiguous description of the issue that I'm trying to report.

It's been happening more & more frequently lately - the double-quit message in challenges (shown in my screenshots) is a telltale sign, but sometimes only a single quit message shows up (even worse, giving the misleading message that you're a quitter😕).

Can you please reverse your edits so we can get some attention to this issue?

i had the same issue last week. i have a few active challenges but i don't see any on my dashboard. they say i quit n just re-invited me. some wins  i lost because they were syncing already n there was no way to invite me back in. this week i see no invites and challenges. i'm going in blind in whatever challenge i'm in.

Hi, LVinLA, I like how they say to sign out of app and turn phone off and on., LIke they are not changing stuff daily and don't realize

this happens because of changes. Like when all the Charge 5 had outages a few weeks ago. Then there are fitbit people that don't

know the whole story or can't say and say this is the first I have heard of it. I wish you luck in this Fitbit@@ glitch.
