Change name on Fitbit app following Google migration

Is there any way to change what the fit bit app calls you after migrating to Google. It’s not your profile name, I know how to change that. The app is referring to me as the 1st part of my gmail address which is silly and very annoying and not my name or anything close. I think this google migration is the thing that pushes me to dump Fitbit all together

Let me help you change your name in the Fitbit app.

If you moved Fitbit to your Google Account, edit your name under your Google Account. For more information, see the Google Account help article.

To edit your profile name in the google account settings, you may follow the steps below:

• On your Android mobile device, visit myaccount.google.com.
• At the top, tap Personal info.
• Under "Basic info," tap Name > (You may be asked to sign in)
• Next to your current name, tap >.
• Update your name and tap Save.
