Charge 2 - Exercise failed to sync

Went for a 4-mile walk.  Fitbit app open.  Bluetooth on.  Phone in my jacket.  Started the exercise on the Charge 2.  Stopped it on the Charge 2 at the end of the walk.  Dashboard opened and showed the rectangle where the map would normally appear.  The widget just spun and spun and spun, and never completed syncing the map, distance, calories, etc.  The only data that appeared was the number of minutes I walked.  Each time I open the Exercise part, same thing.  I finally just deleted this walk from the Dashboard.  This is the first time I can recall this happening with this walk.  Any idea why this might have happened?  Thank you.

Hello @hornets66, I hope you're doing well, thanks for coming back and posting your question. Smiley Happy

I order to force-quit any app:

  1. If you're using an iPhone with a home button, double-tap it, this will bring all the apps currently open, simply swipe up to force-quit them.
  2. If you're using an iPhone with no home button:
    1. Put your finger toward the bottom of the display and swipe up
    2. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold your finger on the display for about half second.
    3. Swipe up the app you want to force-quit.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello @hornets66, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. At this moment I would like to suggest you that the next time this issue happens, please force-quit the app and open it again. Sometimes, the app does not update the information showing with the information stored in our servers, force-quitting the app will refresh the information showed on the app. Now, if you try this the next time this issue happens and your exercise is still not showing correctly, please take a screenshot and reply to me with it.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.
