I've had the Charge 2 for about a month & a few days ago it stopped vibrating and displaying text & phone notifications. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and everything seems to be set up correctly. The Fitbit app shows notifications are on, but the Charge says they are off. Here is what I have done so far:
1. Verified notifications are on in the Fitbit app
2. Verified notifications are on in Settings for the phone.
3. Tried the suggestion from other posts - told bluetooth to forget the device, restarted phone, paired it again, and verified all notifications settings
4 Tried a reset - Charge 2 in charger, hold button till logo shows, and verified all notifications settings.
Nothing has worked and I am starting to get a little frustrated.
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks

Exact same happened to me. It does vibrate for alarms, just not text or phone.

Well, I found the answer last night buried in the Fitbit help. Mine showed notifications off on the Charge 2 screen. I pushed on the screen and held it till it change to notifications on. Use the side button to go through the screens and see if. It shows notifications off. If it does, try what I did.
Good luck.

I have the same problem but I don't know what you mean by the Charge 2 screen?

If you hold down the button on the side, after 2-3 seconds it comes up to a notifications screen that isn't one of the main selections that cycle through on the screen. It will say if you're notifications are on or off. Hold it until it says notifications on and it should correct the problem. I went through all the recommendations that were on the Fitbit FAQ pages and nothing worked but this was never mentioned until someone posted it here and this corrected the problem for me.

Hello @TonyMan, @SunsetRunner, @DanDee14, and @tinamelb. I hope you're doing well.
@TonyMan and @DanDee14, thank you so much for replying and letting me know that you're now able to receive Notifications.
@tinamelb, with the latest update, when you press the button to scroll between screens on your Charge 2, you will be able to see Notifications, to enable or disable them press the button for 2 seconds. The icon will change and you will be able to see if they're enabled or disabled.
@SunsetRunner, I was wondering if you're still having issues receiving notifications, if you are, please feel free to reply so I can check this for you.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, keep me posted!

One other thing I noticed that could be the cause for this setting changing. When I went to charge it the other moment I was kinda sloppy putting the clip on. I noticed the display had changed to Notifications and the clip not futting properly held the button & changed it again. Just thoght I'd mention this so folks know to be a tad carefull putting that charging clip on.

@TonyMan Do you have notifications turned "On" on the Charge 2 itself?
Also, I'd recommend making sure that you've enabled notifications for your phone/messages/calendar app. This can be done by: opening your iOS settings > tap Notifications > tap phone/messages/calendar > and toggle Allow Notifications on.
Another important note is that you won't receive a text notification if you have an open conversation on your phone.
If the problem persists after you've tried the things that I mentioned above, I'd recommend that you forget your Charge 2 from your Bluetooth settings and then set notifications up from scratch. Click here for instructions.
Hope this helps!

Derrick, the original post describes what the original setting were. The solution was to turn on notifications on the Charge 2. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of details about this in the original info that came with it.

Thank you for this. This actually happened to me before and I was able to fix it with this tip. But I forgot so this was a good reminder. Anyone know why this happens?

Not sure why it happens. I think it has to do with attaching the charging cable clip. I have watched and if it isn't attached cleanly I have seen the notifications come up as off. You just have to be careful.
