I was fooling with some other apps the other day that I thought had been set to synch with my Charge 2 but didn't appear to actually be doing so, and somehow ended up with the Fitbit clearly double-tracking my steps. I've been back through the settings on every single app, including my Fitbit account, and my iPhone settings, at least three times, without success. I even completely deleted the other apps, and the tracker is *still* way out of whack. Obviously I am missing something.
Can anyone help me figure out exactly what is causing this? The device was working just fine before this.
I'm thinking this must be tied somehow to my iPhone's tracking feature, because I do remember trying to do that, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it.
TIA

Hello @wendyannh, thanks for joining us in the Community, it's nice to have you on board!
In order to check if your tracker is counting more steps than it should, we can perform an accuracy test. Using your iPhone tracking features or MobileTrack, does not duplicate your steps, instead, it complements the Fitbit trackers by counting steps in case you don't have your tracker with you, but if you do, these steps get override when you sync your tracker. To perform the accuracy test, restart your tracker and follow these steps:
1. Put you tracker on your wrist and check how many steps you have at the moment
2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
3. Pause, then check your tracker to see your step count.
If your tracker counted less than 100 steps or more than 100, my best recommendation would be contacting our Support Team, I'm sure they will be more than happy to get you back on track.
Let me know the outcome!
