Charge 2 and iPhone not connect when running

Most of the times when I want to run I put on my charge 2, push the button run to activate but then almost always the iphone and charge2 will not connect. I switched on all location, blue tooth shows that it is connected charge 2...but...stilll when I start running there is disconnectionn with charge 2. A pitty...I am frustrated at the moment...even never want to by a fitbit anymore, sorry what can i do.....

Hi @Loekschoen. Welcome to the Community.

 

Thanks for letting me know that your tracker doesn't stay connected and for the steps that you've tried so far. Since you mentioned that the location services is on, may I know what option was chosen for those settings? I'm asking this as to track GPS data is required to set the location services to "Always". If that's correct, please give a try to the following steps:

 

  1. Remove your Charge 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Restart your Charge 2.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture > Charge 2 > Sync Now. If you're prompted to pair via Bluetooth, please proceed with that.
  6. Once it has synced, try starting your Run activity from the exercise app.
