Charge 2 loss of functionality

Fitbit was working well with iPhone - could see actual heartbeat changing on phone and received alerts when phone rang, text messages received etc.

Following the recent Fitbit app upgrade, both stopped working. I see the heart rate graph, but not current reading, and no notifications (I tend to have phone on silent at work so as not to disturb others, relying on Fitbit vibrations to alert me)

not a happy bunny (I’ve tried restarting phone, Fitbit, removal from Bluetooth on phone, all to no avail)

Exactly the same has happened to me!!!! Both the Iphone7 & charge2 work independently but neither will sync or connect.

Ive tried all the suggestions & now the app can’t even add the charge2 because for some reason neither it or Bluetooth can find the dam thing.

Hey!! I literally just solved this issue after previously commenting!!

I had this after my charge2 tried to update. No solutions worked so I tried this ...

REMOVED IPHONE7 PROTECTIVE CASE!! This seems to have been the ‘blocker’

Also,

Forgot the device on Bluetooth

Removed charge2 from Fitbit App

Logged out of Fitbit App

Plugged Fitbit into its charger

Restarted Fitbit (4second reboot)

Logged into Fitbit app

Add device

Followed instructions

Boom it worked after god only knows how many attempts!!!

My shockproof case seemed to block the Bluetooth etc connection between the two devices.

Mines the same phone, same cover and same Fitbit.

bizzare thing is, if I go to Fitbit app, select the Fitbit, then look at the notifications it says it needs to “pair” with the Fitbit yet it’s already paired (Phone shows it as connected, I get the sync updates etc) only started with latest version of the App - please fix ASAP, or say how to regress
