Fitbit one not syncing

I had my One for a couple of years. Yesterday it stopped syncing with the Fitbit app. It had charge but fully charged One, deleted from my account, deleted app from iPhone and started from beginning. But Fitbit can not find One. Keeps searching.   The One does record my steps but will not sync. Suggestions, please

I would try restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

 

  1. Plug your charging cable into your computer.
  2. Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
  3. Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds.
  4. Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on.

Give this a few tries as it doesn't always work.

Tried logging out and in, switching the phone and watch on off but my surge will not sync? Please help

How did you figure this out?! ... Even the Fitbit support people didn't suggest this.

 

I was pleasantly surprised that this worked!

Glad it worked for you I'm afraid mine still does not sync, tried a New Ionic which also froze after 2 weeks, got my money back and I now have a garmin vioactive 3 which I am rely pleased with
