Charge 2 not setting up (iPhone 6s)

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Device never syncs, code is requested, device shows the code, input the code, 'connecting to Fitbit...' for as long as you can stomach looking at it without being sick to your stomach that your expensive device is useless.

Any technical instructions would be very welcome (and that means I've already tried turning off and on again and all the IT Crowd mess the community leaders are peddling).

Also is it true you cannot factory reset the Charge 2?

Hello @amoff11, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

If your Charge 2 is not finishing the set up process on your iPhone 6, please make sure you've updated the Fitbit app to the latest version and that your iPhone 6 is running iOS 9 or older and follow these steps:

  1. Restart your Charge 2 and leave it plugged in and charging
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth on your phone for 15 seconds, then turn it back on.
  4. Try to set up your tracker as a new device once again:
    • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
    • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
    • If the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.

Additionally, please make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the set up process. Please note that it's not currently possible to perform a factory reset on the Charge 2.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

  1. Turn off the Bluetooth off in your phone, then
