Hello @Jackjackie, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
If your tracker is not syncing, please go to the Account tab on the Fitbit app and check if your Charge 2 is listed under your name. If it's not we will need to set up your tracker as a new device.
In order to setup your tracker:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is under the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. If you have used a different phone to sync your tracker in the past, go to the Bluetooth settings of those devices as well and removed it too.
- Restart your phone.
- Restart your tracker, then leave it plugged in and charging.
- Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices that can interfere with the set up process.
- Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
- Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
Now, after your tracker has been set up in order to enable Notifications, in the Fitbit app go to Account > Charge 2 > Notifications and enable them. A pop up will ask you if you want to pair your phone, tap on OK and continue with the process.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted.
