Just got my first fitbit. Seems to connect at first, but whenever I try to pair via bluetooth, I get a message like this: "Make sure code shown on “PR BT 4B2A” matches the one below." and a five-digit number. No idea what to do with this number, and then after a bit computer says pairing failed. Help?

Hello @DrFruit, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!
Which tracker are you trying to pair to your account? Are you using a USB dongle or are you trying to pair your tracker using the native Bluetooth of your computer?
Please keep in mind that the Fitbit tracker when syncing with a computer, need a USB dongle, they can't pair or sync through the native Bluetooth of your computer and they also can't be paired to the native Bluetooth, they sync and pair through the Fitbit Connect Software. To set up your tracker using the software and the USB dongle, please check @MarreFitbit's helpful instructions.
If you're trying to pair or sync using the Fitbit Connect Software and the USB dongle and you're still getting this error message, please take a screenshot and reply to me with it so I can check this further.
I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please keep me posted.

Thanks for answering quickly.
My charge 2 did not come with a dongle - only a cord for charging my charge 2 via the usb port. Is this what I am supposed to use?

If I need a dongle to pair my computer with my new fitbit, why didn't the fitbit come with a dongle? How do I get one????

Hello @DrFruit, thanks for taking the time to reply!
The Charge 2 does not come with a USB dongle included as specified in the store, it only comes with the tracker, the interchangeable band and the charging cable. If you'd like to use a mobile device to set up and sync your tracker, please check our compatibility list to verify that your phone is currently supported.
If you're using a supported mobile device, please download the Fitbit app from the App Store, open it and tap on the Account icon on the top right corner of the screen. Check if your tracker appears listed under your name. If it is, that means your tracker was able to set up before, in which case it will be able to sync with the app if Bluetooth is on.
If your tracker does not appear listed, please try to set it up:
Additionally, in case your mobile device is not compatible, I've already opened a case with our Support Team in your behalf, please expect an email very soon.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted!

How do I connect the support team?
I cannot get my phone (Moto z force) or my macbook pro to pair with my fitbit charge 2.
Not for sure what to do.
