Charge 3 - need to sync to two devices

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I know it might be stupidly impractical, etc. But I like to have my Charge 2 synced to both my Samsung phone and my iPod touch. When I work out in the gym, I do not have the phone near me and it would connect to my iPod. The rest of the time, the phone would be the dominant connection,

I can't seem to make this work since I upgraded to the Charge 3. Any thoughts?

Hi, @Puckrobin! That shouldn't be a problem, since all your data are synced to the server, not your devices. What exactly is the problem you're seeing?

I am having the same problem. Charge 3 is syncing to iPhone but not my iPad.

I have the same problem. I've just switched to a Fitbit Charge 3 after years of using a Garmin. Have always been able to sync the data from my wearable to either my iPad or iPhone depending on which was more convenient. iPad does not recognising my wearable, it doesn't show in my bluetooth devices but it does on my iPhone. It seems the wearable can only be synced to one device.

Hello @Mickgavo, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that Fitbit devices can sync with more than one device and they will not show up nor pair / sync through the Bluetooth settings on your devices. If you have set up your Charge 3 in your phone, simply open the Fitbit app on your iPad and log in, your device will already be there and you will be able to sync it. It's only recommended you turn off the Bluetooth on your phone so the tracker can sync in your iPad.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and let us know the outcome.
