Charge 3 not connecting with phone.

I have read all the comments, My Fitbit 3 keeps saying on my Apple phone Connection Unsuccessful, Make sure "Charge 3" is turned on and in range.  It was connected last night after I said forget this device and back to square one.  I'm over it! How many times can you reboot both phone and watch.  Not Happy 😞

It does monitor sleep cycle. The only downside I have had with the Apple Watch. Was it calling 911 in my sleep. It’s a good feature to have, but I had to disable it.

I am on my second charge 3 and was on Fitbit Inspire HR. All three are terrible! Not to mention horrible customer service!!! 

I had a charge 2 with no issues!

 

fitbit lost a customer when the new Apple Watch comes out. Till then I guess I will have to deal with these “ghetto” issues!

Don’t bother trying a different model! They all suck! Return it if u can and get your money back!  I have been dealing with issues and Fitbit customer service does not stand behind this crap product! 

When I had the charge 2 I had no issues! Sad because Fitbit helped get me healthy! I will be looking for the new Apple Watch over the summer. Till then I am stuck with this horrible device!

Device is trash! And good luck dealing with Fitbit customer service!! Sunk cost for me at this point. Fitbit lost a customer

Agree - Technical support is no help.  Can't even get iPhone to see it through Bluetooth now.

Lol! They made me buy a new charge 3 at 50% off or I had to send in my device (and be without a device) While they looked and decided to replace my charge 3. I ended up buying a new one and it would not even connect. 
then customer service wanted me to pay for shipping a defective new product. 

right now I just deal with the intermittent connection issues on my older charge 3 waiting for The new Apple Watch.

I ended up exchanging it and got a new one and this one has been fine, no problems

Hi

I just turn my Fitbit off and turn my laptop off. When I start them up it all works.

None. I just switch Orr the Fitbit and the computer when I want to update and sync.

Is there a way to completely shutdown your Charge 3? I can only restart mine by going to the menu on charge 3. Holding down button does not do anything

No, I never got it to stay connected.   I can get it to connect briefly to synch data, but it still will not stay connected.      So, I can get my health related data over to the app, but I can not take advantage of notifications, alarms....

 

I will live with it for now, but when I decide to get a new device, the lack of customer support from FitBit will be an influencing factor in how I spend my $$

I have not had a problem with customer service. I was given a replacement for the replacement. I was able to connect it. But it is doing a very poor charge of keeping heart rate through the day. Also I climbed 15 set of stairs and it recorded 2. Not sure the fitbit 3 is worth the trouble.

so sick of this not syncing. I am in these challenges and no one seeing what I’m doing so it’s kind of useless. If a fix can’t be found I’m just gonna have to go to an Apple Watch. Don’t want to Since I have had fit bits for years but this is ridiculous. My charge two syncs fine but I can’t wear that when I go swimming that’s why I have the Fitbit three.
