The app cant find my fitbit charge 3, Already tried restarting app, restarting phone. Now I let my phone forget the device and read that storting “new” device was a suggestion, But then the app still canot find the device. I only got it for 1 day.

i don’t remember the specifics but my band broke too. Yes Amazon has many inexpensive ones that are great. Glad to read that you guys are enjoying your FITBIT. Sometimes it seems as us wearers are being used as BETA TESTERS. I’m sure you look cool wearing your C3!

It looks like I will remain aBitConfused as long as I have a Fitbit. Resolved "answers" are just rabbit holes where I spend useless time trying to fix it myself. I like my Fitbit, but these random problems are nuts. My bit syncs sometimes. It can't be found while I have each in one hand manually. It may sync later. It used to be almost live. I could open the app and see everything as soon as I picked up my phone. Now I manually sync or try to, several times per day.

Mine just started to only be able to access the main page. I could not
scroll to any other page for two days. All of a sudden today it works
again. Of course it is just at the one year mark. It did sync with my phone
the whole time too. What next?

Every day I have to switch my iPhone off and re-start it to get it to work, now even that’s stopped working. Never had any syncing problems with my alpha Fitbit. I have got my iPhone synced to my car which I can now think is the only issue but I need that! Not happy at all

If you are able to take this Fitbit back I would suggest you do. I'm on my 4th Fitbit in 1 year. I've been using Fitbit products for years and had no problem but this cannot be said for the charge 3. Cut your losses ago buy another watch.

This is so frustrating. I have deleted my other fitbit and scale from the app. I have trying deleting the app. I have rebooted my phone, turned bluetooth on and off and I have rebooted and wiped the tracker.
Nothing works and when I talked to customer service their answer was "Regarding the timeline, we cannot give a specific date because our team is still inspecting it."

I'm having the same problem and keeps happening. Only had the charge 3 for a week and already frustrated with it. Fitbit are you looking into this issue?

Take it back. I had problems for a full year, finally got it to sync most
of the time with my old phone. Then the screen would go blank but still
was tracking. Now with my new Samsung 10S I can't get it to sync at all.
Did all the recommended things, not working. And before the year was up the
band broke. At least they have cheaper ones on line now. Find another
brand. My Charge 2 was great, never had a problem, but I wanted one that
would work in the pool for water aerobics. This was a poor choice.

I contacted customer support and told them that none of the troubleshooting steps helped. They basically just told me they are aware of the problem and to watch for app updates

Did a hard shut down on the fit bit itself, it is now sitting there with a line going through it. The last time I tried to sync it, my daughter had uninstall and reinstall the app. There has to be an easier way & how do I get it going again?

jplatter: Can you provide the link / click / post you are referring to that helped you? Actually, I did something over a year ago that caused my Fitbit to finally work and I am mostly happy with it for quite awhile now. I think I turned off some things and did a hard restart. But, I can no longer remember what I did and think I lost the link I tried to keep. So, which post helped you?

I've had no issues with pairing or syncing for years. Recently my Charge 3 will not sync with my phone. I re-downloaded the app, removed the Charge 3 from my synced devices, rebooted both the phone and Charge 3, and setup the Charge 3 as a new device, but it will not pair on sync. On my phone it sees the Charge 3, but it will not pair.

Hi Pbaille I think you have done all you can, if you have this on your iPad too I had this problem and had to delete it off my iPad and just used my iPhone.I hope this helps but if not get in touch with fit bit itself.

Same here Slumber. I deleted (unpaired) C3 from both my iPad and iPhone and then paired again only with iPhone and now iPhone syncs. Did this over a year ago? Oh yeah!
