My iPhone app suddenly won’t sync with my Fitbit charge 3 because apparently there isn’t an internet connection... I can access the internet on my iPhone so it’s only the app that I’m having an issue with.
I’ve tried:
1. Turning internet and Bluetooth on and off again.
2. Closing the app and windows.
3. Logging out (can’t log back in as the app isn’t connecting to the internet).
4. Deleting and reinstalling the app.
None of these work.
Has anyone else had this issue?

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 stopped syncing and you get an error about no internet connection. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I would like to confirm if you have a VPN installed on your phone since it could be preventing the connection between the app and the WiFi? You may try to disconnect it by doing the following: Settings > Connections > More connection settings > VPN.

I hope you can help me. My charge 3 has been doing fine and the FitBit app has been working without issue until this morning. Today the app on my iPhone will not sync to the Charge 3 stating that there is no internet connection. Everything else works fine on the iPhone. I opened the app on my iPad and had no issues there. I do not have a VPN on the phone but I do have a public and a private Wi-Fi in my home. Both iPad & the iPhone were on the private Wi-Fi and as I stated earlier things work on the iPad. I can get the iPhone to work by switching to the public Wi-Fi but it no longer will work with the private one which is where I want my phone at. I have re-installed the app, made sure the app was updated, turned off blue tooth and turned it back on, I have shut down my phone and started it back up, and I have tried to resync from the Charge 3 and nothing works. And things have been working fine until this morning. Other things I have checked was if anything else was connected via blue tooth and I have another item there but it is not connected (Hands free for my car - I removed everything else). Also it will connect just fine on cellular data with the Wi-Fi off. This make no sense to me and I would appreciate and help/advice you can give me. Thanks.
