Charge 3 will not connect with iPhone or iPad.

Since April 12, 2020 my one year old Charge 3 will not connect, via Bluetooth, to my iPad or my iPhone.  Therefore it can't sync or update the clock.

it still counts steps and shows heart rate, etc. but clock is wrong.

I've reset it several times with no change.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @lostcreekranch

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 won't connect to your iPhone or iPad. I am glad to assist you with that. I appreciate your efforts and the additional details and recommend following our complete troubleshooting instructions in this help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

If you're on iOS 13 or higher, please do the following:

- Open Settings app on phone

- Scroll down, tap Fitbit -> Toggle Location to 'Always'

- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned "On"

For additional steps to correct the time on your device, see How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

Keep me posted on the outcome, I'll be around.

I confirmed the suggested setting and problem continues.  Bluetooth on both iPhone 8+ and iPad just indicated that Charge 3 is not connected.  The Fitbit app, on both devices, on the "sync now" line indicate "looking".

My Charge 3 seems to work okay otherwise.  It counts steps, shows heart rate, etc.  It just won't sync, get clock time updated, and update data in the app.

I've yet to hear from your Customer Support but tried a couple more things.

i deleted my Charge 3 from the Fitbit app on both iPhone and iPad.  Then .. I deleted the Fitbit app from both devices.

I the reloaded the Fitbit app to both iPhone and iPad and attempted to "set up" my Charge 3.  Neither device could connect with the Charge 3 so ..the setup could not be completed.

I reconnected my old Charge 2 Tracker to both devices easily and using it now until Charge 3 problem is resolved.
