Charge 3 won’t sync to iPad after iOS 13.4 update on 3/25/20

Ever since I updated my iPad to the new iOS 13.4 update yesterday, 3/25/20, my charge 3 will no longer sync to my iPad even with a manual sync. I tried rebooting my charge 3 with no difference. It won’t set up to sync all day or manually sync. Can someone please help? Thanks

@1catfan   I have no guarantee that this will work, but this is my troubleshooting sequence when something like this happens:

  • Delete the Fitbit app
  • Turn off your iPad
  • Restart your Charge 3
  • Turn your iPad back on
  • Re-download the app
  • Log back in to the app

Crossing my fingers for you.

I've deleted my Fitbit app twice, closing bluetooth both times then reloading the app and turning on bluetooth. Nothing works. I have an ipad and an iphone.

Had the very same problem after updating to 13.4. Did all the suggested remedies but discovered that the iPhone Bluetooth still did not recognize my Charge 3 and would not connect to it.  In the Bluetooth settings I had the iPhone “Forget” the Charge 3, then it found the watch again and connected, and the Fitbit app synced. Hope this works for you.

This is what i had to do that worked. I have a charge 3 & blaze. I usE the
fitbit app on my ipad. My bluetooth on my iPad COULDN'T find My charge 3 so
it wouldN’t sync after the iOS 13.4 updateTO GET MY IPAD TO FIND MY CHARGE
3 FROM BLUETOOTH & TO SYNC AFTER IOS 13.4 UPDATE ON 3/25/20I HAD TO REMOVE
ALL THE DEVICES (BOTH MY BLAZE AND CHARGE 3) FROM MY FITBIT APP ON MY IPAD
AND REMOVE THEM FROM MY BLUETOOTH DEVICES ON MY IPAD BY CLICKING ON
SETTINGS- BLUETOOTH-CLICK ON THE DEVICE NAME-CHARGE 3 & BLAZE & CLICK ON
FORGET THIS DEVICE. THEN i RE-ADDed THE DEVICES TO THE FITBIT APP ON MY
IPAD. WHILE RE-ADDING THE CHARGE 3, I HAD MY BLAZE SHUTDOWN AND TURNED OFF
AND WHILE ADDING THE BLAZE I HAD MY CHARGE 3 AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. SO
ITS LIKE STARTING OVER AGAIN WHEN YOU SET UP A NEW DEVICE. ON MY FITBIT APP
ON MY IPAD, I CLICKED ON ADD NEW DEVICE AND YOU RECEIVE A 4 DIGIT CODE On
YOUR DEVICE display TO ENTER INTO YOUR FITBIT APP & it synced again. IT
REALLY DIDN'T TAKE THAT LONG WHEN I GOT TO THIS PROCESS BUT IT TOKE A
COUPLE HOURS OF MESSING Around to get theRe. I have no idea why its making
me use all caps...

When you remove your device from the app and re-add it, don't you lose any steps that haven't been synced?

Not in my experience. As far as I can tell, it seems to be working ok without any information lost.
