Charge 4 syncing and battery issues

I’ve only had the Fitbit charge 4 a year and I have to sync it every day. What a pain. And the battery only lasts about 18 hours and needs a recharge. Disappointed

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and appreciate your efforts. Your data should automatically sync to the Fitbit app throughout the day. Each time you open the Fitbit app, your device syncs automatically when it's nearby. You can also use the Sync Now option in the app at any time. For more information about syncing your device, see How do Fitbit devices sync their data? If you're experiencing any difficulties with syncing, please try our tips here. 

 

Regarding the issue with battery drain, I recommend to force quit the Fitbit app. For additional tips to prevent battery drain, please see this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
