Charge 4 won't link to my new iPhone 12

I just got a new iPhone 12 mini and went to link my Fitbit to it.  I have it where i can get alerts on calls and text but it will not link to the Fitbit app so I can update it and see my stats. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it and nothing. I keep getting a message on the Fitbit saying download or update the Fitbit app to set up. Any suggestions?

Hi there @percussionloverWelcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for the details shared about the issue that you are experiencing when connecting you Charge 4 with your iPhone 12 and for the troubleshooting tried prior posting.

If you continue getting the same message on your Fitbit device, is because it s on the setup mode, so please make sure of the following:

1. Your iOS software is updated to the latest version. Verify by going to Settings > General > Software Update to check for updates.
2. Bluetooth is enabled in iOS settings.
3. Fitbit is also updated on your phone.

Once you have verified the above do the following:

1. Restart your tracker.
2. After your tracker has restarted, reboot your iOS device.
3. Open the Fitbit app and proceed through the setup process, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

I hope this helps!
