Charge/Alta syncing

I have 2 Fitbits and often switch between them. I wear the charge to the gym and then switch to the Alta. Over the last few days, after a workout I will sync my charge before changing Fitbits- my charge daily steps (and all other info) is replaced by the Alta once I do a new sync. Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice. It's very frustrating!

@janehph1, with the implementation of Multi-Tracker support now available, you should be getting the combined data of both of the trackers you used during the day, in this case the Charge and the Alta. 

Did you see all the information from the Charge erased and replaced by the information registered by the Alta or you were able to see the information registered by both trackers combined?
