Charge HR Will Not Sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
This is my second Charge HR- the first wristband separated at the "brain" and Fitbit replaced it. This Charge will not sync and it's extremely frustrating. I have an iPhone. After a couple months of working properly, it's now been weeks since I could get it to sync without having to hard reset it- having it "forget" the device and reinstall. I'm ready to stomp on it. Any ideas?

@WhiskeyChica It's great to see you in the Community! So sorry to hear that your Charge HR is not syncing with your phone. I'd like you to make sure that your phone has the most recent app version installed. If so, it seems that you would have covered all the troubleshooting steps recommended. My best advice is to contact our Customer Support team so they can investigate further and get this issue sorted out for you.

Keep me posted on the outcome my friend and I'll be around! Smiley Happy

Sane problem here. Sometimes it works after several attempts. All of my apps and iOS are up to date. Very frustrating.

@Gardinerguy Thanks for joining us in this thread! Seems odd that your Fitbit is not syncing constantly. Since your apps are up to date, I'd like to know if you have tried restarting your Charge HR as advised in Alejandra's post. This will refresh your tracker internally and test the syncing behavior after the restart process.

Let me know how it goes my friend! Smiley Happy

Thank you all. Restarting the Fitbit didn't work- that's always the first
thing I try. I uninstalled the app and reupped it- so far, so good.
Cautiously optimistic, although I wish Fitbit would correct this snafu; not
wanting to sync has been a problem for the year I've owned one.

@WhiskeyChica I'd recommend making sure that you are using version 2.25 of the Fitbit iOS App that was released this morning. Click here to be redirected to the iOS App Store if you haven't already updated.

I wouldn't recommending uninstalling/reinstalling the Fitbit App if you can help it. There is the potential for memory loss when you uninstall any iOS App, including Fitbit. If you ever run into another problem with syncing, the steps below should help:

1. Restart your tracker.

2. Reboot your iOS device.

3. Open your iOS settings > turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds and then turn Bluetooth back on.

4. Open the Fitbit App to initiate a sync.
