Charge HR not syncing (FBBluetoothErrorDomain 29)

Trying to fire up my Fitbit Charge HR after a long hiatus. Iphone app says, The operation couldn't be completed. (FBBluetoothErrorDomain error 29). I've already downloaded a new operating system, re-downloaded the app, and tried to reset the device. The device also does not have the correct time on it - it's about 8 minutes slow. I haven't seen anyone else report this error, please help!

@Jewels1234, @Sdbarnes, @Whiplash90 thanks for your report. If the tips to forget the device in Bluetooth outlined in @MarcoGFitbit's post haven't worked, an error message like this usually occurs during set-up or updating firmware. Check out this link if you haven't already. Additionally, try setting up with an alternative supported device or computer if possible.

If you are are still experiencing this, would you be able to share a screenshot of the message?

I am experiencing the same issues after attempting to use my Fitbit HR after a long period of disuse. I am receiving the error message "The operation couldn't be completed. (FBBluetoothErrorDomain error 29.) when trying to update the firmware. Syncing takes 6 to 10 minutes and although the app says the device is synced, it doesn't appear to have successfully synced. For instance, time on the Fitbit display is off by several hours and I don't see any of the steps or other activities displayed on the dashboard of the app.

I am using an I-Phone 6, iOS 11.2.5.

Hope your team can provide a solution!

Thanks,

Hello my mom is also having this problem. I have tried to:

1. Reboot her chargeHR

2. Uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled it

3. Forgot the device

4. Removed the device

5. Rebooted the iphome

6 tried to readd the device so the issue is just like everyone else here, it’s frozen st the point where you enter the four Igor code. Here are the details:

iPhone or iPad model you're currently using. iPhone 6 11.2.5
OS version running on your mobile device. 11.2.5
App version installed (go to Account > Help to get it) 2.45

Please help
